Golf Grip Technology - How I got my golf swing

When you've been playing golf for a long time, you generally know which grip best suits your style of play. On average, most of the people I've spoken to on my range have said that the overlapping grip has given them the most success due to its stability in the pressure points being in the right place. So I decided to convert from my normal style of interlocking. This turned out to be an incredible mistake on my part.

All in all, the overlapping grip is really good and stable but when you've been playing for years using a specific style, sometimes it can be counterproductive to try and change. Your body has developed a system to make this specific style work in your favor and if it ain't broken, don't try to fix it.

However, if your a beginner and your shots are gong everywhere except where they should be, then perhaps you might be interested in making a change to your way of play. Experiment with different grips to see which one is most comfortable for you.

It may shock you but Master Champions and PGA Tour Members have been known to still use this grip. It's not only for beginners, it's for anyone who feels comfortable holding their clubs like this. So for every player, their is a golf grip technique that will make your drive easier and more effective.

I've always used the interlocking grip technique but I would never tell you that it is the best as it inevitably will come down to you.
